As one of only two facilities in Africa to hold both PAAZA accreditation (Pan Africa Association of Zoo’s and Aquaria) and membership with WAZA (World Association of Zoo’s and Aquariums), we receive no government funding and have always taken enormous pride in being a self-sustaining centre. As one of the largest employers in the region, our endeavours have always benefitted the local community, local wildlife and the tourism industry. Our commitment to our animals, employees, and community remains paramount in our conservation and education ethos, and the animals in our care are given the best care attainable. Our facility faces high monthly overheads, and all donations contribute to our Section 18A non-profit, and in turn our facility.

The Cheetah Preservation Foundation (CPF) was founded in 1988, with the principal aim of ensuring the survival of the cheetah and other endangered species, as well as educating our visitors about the plight of these animals.

Dear Cango, The flooding and the extent of it made me very sad. As a volunteer and intern, I love this ranch, it's like a big family and I always feel the need to support wherever I can, be it with adoptions or donations. I know how much work goes into this ranch and the passion for all its inhabitants. This must be preserved. - Melissa
Having volunteered for 5 weeks early this year, I'm very happy to have made a couple of donations during this difficult time. Being very honest, I found it slightly confusing how to make a donation rather than adopt (adopter of Eliza) Eventually got there. A couple of volunteers I worked with have had thank you messages on Instagram which is nice to be able to share with contacts and possibly encourage more donations.
